Dragon PrimeX is developed by Wishbone and released exclusively through Games Global. Set against a backdrop of lava and ancient riches, Dragon PrimeX uses a traditional 5-reel layout while adding several special modifiers that can change the bonus round from one feature to the next.
Even with the cartoon style graphics, Dragon PrimeX still manages to look a bit unsettling. There’s a Manga quality to the drawings that gives it a whole different vibe from most online slots. The stone framed 5x3 grid is set against a river of lava flowing between huge volcanos, and there’s a not very friendly dragon perched to the left, possibly a mama dragon protecting the eggs perched on top of the grid. The volcanoes in the background are constantly belching out smoke and fire and the soundtrack, not surprisingly, is dramatic. There are kettle drums, violins, and the occasional vocals, very operatic and Carmina Buranaish. Everything is pulsating with movement, and there are flashes of fire, etc when wins line up or special symbols land.
When two scatter symbols are visible, the game may award a single respin if the scatters can move downward without leaving the reels. This respin can add the missing third scatter needed for the main feature and may also introduce collector symbols, prize orbs or multiplier symbols.
The main feature awards 10 bonus spins. During this round, Orb symbols with cash values, multiplier symbols and extra spin symbols can appear alongside the Dragon Collect symbol. Collectors gather the visible values and apply any active multipliers.
Dragon PrimeX includes a set of optional modifiers that may be active during the bonus feature:
These modifiers can change the frequency of collectors, multipliers, extra spins and orb symbols, creating different bonus-round variations.
Dragon PrimeX uses a 5x3 reel layout with 20 fixed paylines and winning combinations are formed by matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right, starting with the leftmost reel. The bonus feature introduces collection mechanics through orb symbols and collector symbols.

We found Dragon PrimeX to be strongest when it focuses on its dragon-and-treasure theme. The lava backdrop, glowing gold symbols and collector effects create a cohesive fantasy atmosphere, and the bonus round offers more variety than many standard 5-reel slots thanks to its modifier system.
We would like to see a little more variety in the base game but overall, we think Dragon PrimeX will appeal to players who enjoy fantasy slots with evolving bonus features.
